“It took a very long time for me to see my own value. It wasn’t until I was in my early twenties that I truly began to live my life how I wanted. Coming to terms with my own gender identity has been one of the hardest and most important parts of my life and has made me the person I am today. This is a lot for any person to bear, and I wouldn’t want to go through this again. However, I would move heaven and earth to ensure that someone growing up right now going through similar things has an easier ride than I did so that they too can see their value.

This is the very reason that I do what I do, to make a difference in future generations, so they don’t have to suffer in the way I did.”
