Accessibility:
This event is held at Our House, 96 Kirkgate, WF1 1TB
The centre has street-level access and is wheelchair accessible.
The toilet facilities have baby change and are wheelchair accessible.
The cafe serves both dairy and milk alternatives, and we offer a range of vegan and non-vegan snacks.
We are an alcohol-free and drug-free venue; anyone who brings drugs or alcohol into the centre will be asked to leave.
The cafe runs a ‘pay it forward’ scheme; if you can't afford a drink, please ask a team member, and they will happily tell you about it.
All the proceeds from our shop and cafe go to local queer and trans artists or the centre's upkeep.
Save Our House!
Trans Wakefield is one of the many LGBTQ+ community groups we support through Our House but in February 2024, we will be losing our building. We are currently fundraising to help us move to a new venue and help keep our doors open.
Please consider sharing/donating to our Crowdfunder here.
Our Funders:
Our House supports Trans Wakefield through funding from the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. For more information, visit here.
